Grande Village Breaks Ground On A New Addition
Grande Village Retirement Community, owned and operated by Sprenger Retirement Centers, held a ground breaking ceremony on Tuesday, April 14th at 10:00am. The highly anticipated event marks the beginning of a $2.7 million dollar expansion project to enhance the existing Rehabilitation Center at Grande Village. Grande Village offers a full continuum of healthcare services on one campus including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. The project will add 16,000 square feet to the existing Rehabilitation Center. It will compliment the continuum of care concept at Grande Village by joining the Rehabilitation Center with the already existing Assisted Living building. The new Ortho unit will include 16 spacious Ortho suites, 3 private dining rooms, several private parlors, an activity room and an enclosed courtyard. A memory support unit will also be added for those residents with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. This addition will increase the number of skilled nursing beds to 111 in the Rehabilitation Center. The project is scheduled for completion in February, 2010. Founded in 1959 by Grace Sprenger, Sprenger Retirement Centers is proud to be family owned and operated.
